The Boys comics and TV show depict a world where superheroes, far from being noble figures, are corrupted by power, fame, and corporate interests. Under the influence of the powerful Vought International corporation, these so-called heroes abuse their abilities and status, endangering civilians rather than protecting them. Opposing them is a clandestine group of vigilantes known as “The Boys,” determined to expose the truth and fight back against these perverted figures of heroism. Led by Billy Butcher, a man driven by deep hatred toward superheroes, the team employs brutal and unconventional methods to achieve its goals. The story explores themes such as power abuse, corruption, media manipulation, and moral ambiguity, with a cynical, violent, and satirical tone that deconstructs the traditional superhero myth.
